ABOUT THE SONG

I Know a Shy Fellow Who Swallowed a Cello is for those who love words and music and for children of all ages. It will encourage you to chant or sing along until you find out the unusual fate of our shy fellow who takes life into his own hands.

The story, set to the author's original music, is available on CD. The story is both read and sung by the author. Also on the CD is "Music Detective", where children can learn about the musical instruments in the song and then test their skills at identifying the sounds of each of the instruments.
