For Fun

  • Try doing improvisational theatre.  (If I hadn’t just done this myself recently at a songwriting workshop, I might not have included the idea here.)
  • Learn to play an instrument – there are so many on-line lessons, workshops, one-to-one lessons, etc. that you can take advantage of.  Find a drumming circle in your community and show up with a percussion instrument!
  • Interview family members and ask them about memories of when they were young.
  • Investigate your family tree.
  • Make a family scrapbook, photo album, or cookbook.
  • Spend a day playing games and doing activities that DO NOT require electricity. (Good for the earth and the brain as well!)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  8 Good Old-Fashioned Outdoor Games
